Tags in Paperguide help you organize your papers flexibly across different categories or themes. You can even organize your references with multiple tags in Paperguide.
Create Tags

To create a new tag, click on the ➕ icon beside Tags in the tags section on side bar.

Choose an emoji/icon as an identifier, then enter a name for your tag to complete the creation.

Adding and Managing Tags to One Paper
You can add tags to your papers to easily find, manage, and group related papers.
- To add or manage tags for a paper, click the "+ Tag" button next to its title on the paper card.
- This will display a list of available tags, where you can select the ones you want to apply to the paper.
Adding Tags to Multiple Papers
- To add tags to multiple papers at a time, select the papers by clicking on the check box before each paper’s title.
- Then, click on “Add Tag” option displayed on top.
- This will display a list of available tags, where you can select the ones you want to apply to the papers and click on Add.
More about Tags
- Use the tags on the bottom left of the Reference Manager to filter your papers. Simply check the desired tags to view relevant papers.
- If you want to view papers without any tags, check mark “🏷️No Tag” tag.
- To see the tags added to a paper, just click on the paperand go to info tab.
